Underwater highway scene

This is a commission I did the past few months.
About this picture:
An Arrowhead Shark and Duopoise Porpoise speed towards the City of Azanakum, passing over the coralite suburbs of the city.
The City of Azakanum (seen in the far distance) houses millions of inhabitants within itself and its coralite suburbs. It is built over an active leyline (shown by the small glowing cracks) that suffuse the waters with magic. The city's monstrous protectors skulk the waters, keeping an eye out for dangers everpresent in the brackish waters.

I really enjoyed working with the client. He had a very detailed descrpition, yet I could add my own creative ideas as well during the process. This image was created by matte painting tecnique.
